– The Sea Ranch philosophy
At The Sea Ranch, the guiding principle is to prioritize the natural beauty above all else, and to build in a way that becomes part of the landscape. Materials for housing are largely organic-feeling, featuring native redwood exteriors and large windows that let in natural life and sea air.
Wild grasses are maintained by a flock of sheep, overseen by a shepherd, that graze as an alternative to gas-powered lawn control.
Miles of trails follow the coast line, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy their natural surroundings.
