I was born into a tight knit Cuban American family. My mom approached the world with deep empathy and my dad with persistent curiosity, both of which I try to carry along with me through my own life.

I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Design focused on Health from The University of Texas at Austin, motivated by my own battle with hereditary breast cancer. Before that, I honed my visual aesthetic and client management skills at a $1million/yr commercial photography studio alongside my own freelance photography work. I developed my emotional intelligence from working the front of house at restaurants in my youth.
